Friday 4th November at 10am The Paper Wildflower - bonus session Crepe paper is available in a dazzling array of shades, but this durable crafting material takes surprisingly well to being dyed. In this special session you will learn the basics of natural dyeing for crepe paper, and over the course of 5 hours we will achieve a range of different shades. You will leave with extra paper to continue your experiment in your own kitchen. The colours we achieve are all taken from easily obtainable plants and vegetables, and you will learn how to experiment, and experience the joy of working with these often unexpected colours to create your own paper floral pieces. This session is available as a standalone workshop. If you choose to purchase the full course please head to ‘The Paper Wildflower Course’. Over the course of 8 paper flower sessions plus the paper dyeing sessions you will learn how to make an array of flowers to build your own paper flower arrangement. Sessions can be purchased individually or as a course. If you purchase the course you will also get the paper dyeing course included at no extra cost. All materials and refreshments will be provided, but you will be asked to collect certain items from your kitchens or gardens in the run up to the session. The course takes place in the Hoylake Studio on Friday morning at 10am and lasts for 5 hours. Maximum 8 participants per session.
