Service Description

Thursday 28th September 10 - 1.30pm English Garden Roses, inspired by David Austin's Port Sunlight Rose. This 3.5 hour course offers an introduction to the craft of paper flowers. Over 3 hours you will learn the basics of working with crepe paper to create a beautifully realistic garden rose. We cover cutting and shaping petals, crafting simple leaves and building a beautiful, full and heavy English Rose. Paper flower making is a wonderfully mindful activity, keeping you present in the moment - some people find it highly addictive! Once you have created a beautiful flower using nothing but paper, glue and wire, you will never look at a flower in the same way again. This is a standalone session, teaching you everything you need to create the large face flowers of the David Austin style English Roses. Take more classes and learn how to build a full paper flower arrangement! All tools and materials (plus tea, coffee and biscuits!) will be provided. Maximum class size 8. Deposits are non refundable but dates can be rescheduled. £45
