Service Description

PURCHASE THE FULL COURSE AND SAVE £60! Learn how to identify our main plant families by their flowers and learn a range of skills so that you can create paper versions of our beautiful indigenous wild flowers. Working with finest quality Italian crepe paper you will craft flowers including foxgloves, cornflowers and dandelions, learning this wonderfully relaxing and mindful skill as we go. A series of eight 2.5 hour sessions taking place on Tuesday mornings starting on 27th September at 10am in the Hoylake Studio. You will learn a wide range of paper flower crafting techniques and focus on making a variety of British wildflowers. In addition, there will be a bonus one-off longer session in which we will explore natural dyeing using crepe paper. Explore sustainable crafts and natural colour and learn how to do this safely at home. All materials, tools and refreshments will be provided. COURSE DATES (all sessions 10am-12.30pm) Tuesday 27th September: Poppy Tuesday 4th October: Dog Rose Tuesday 11th October: Bindweed Tuesday 18th October: Dandelion and hawkweed Tuesday 1st November: Cornflower Tuesday 8th November: Foxglove part 1 (colouring techniques and creating the bell shaped flower) Tuesday 15th November: Foxglove part 2 (focus on buds, leaves and creating the flower) Tuesday 22nd November: Sea Holly BONUS SESSION! The Natural Dyeing session will take place on Friday 4th November at 10am. This session will last 5 hours. A payment plan is available allowing you to spread the cost over 8 weeks; 8 payments of £40.00 per week.
