Service Description

Join Ling Warlow and Meg Lowder (@floragami.paperflower) for three unforgettable days of paper flower crafting in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Hosted by two experienced artists and educators, this series of masterclasses offers a unique blend of artistry, inspiration, and relaxation. Your tutors are passionate about their craft: Meg brings a wealth of creative experience from graphic design to bookbinding and has devoted her recent career to teaching the art of paper flowers; and Ling, a wildflower enthusiast, exhibited artist, and experienced educator whose work has been supported by Arts Council England. Set in a light filled craft room in Meg's home, in Keswick, in the beautiful Norfolk countryside outside Norwich, each day is designed to help you connect with your creativity through nature. Together, we’ll explore a wide range of creative techniques including colouring, cutting and shaping crepe paper, and craft a beautifully detailed, framed display piece. The techniques you learn over the course of the Masterclass will give you transferable skills to apply to your future floral creations. Flexible attendance options allow you to book the full three day masterclass or a two day weekend ticket (Saturday and Sunday). Our wonderful colourful caterer, Katie from Little Pie Patisserie will be joining us each day with another array of wonderful mid morning treats, delicious lunches and afternoon cakes, all with her signature floral style. Masterclass programme: Friday 18th September 2026 10pm - 5pm Explore a range of techniques for colouring crepe paper, including natural dyeing techniques, creating the papers to use in the main project over the following two days, including paper for petals, leaves and bark. Saturday 19th September 2026 10am - 5pm Dive into the world of paper blossom, using real blossom to create your own templates. Explore a wide selection of different blossom flowers, and create a whole drift of flowers and buds for your beautiful display piece: a framed blossom branch . Sunday 20th September 2026 10am - 4pm Branches and leaves: today you will explore different leaf types for your blossom branch, learning how to pain the leaves to add stunning details which bring the papers to life. You will learn how to create a branch and put all the elements together to create your final framed piece. Whether you seek new skills or pure creative immersion, this masterclass is for you.
