I've been teaching paper flower making for several years now, and the thing I've come back to again and again is this: the making and the looking aren't separate. Before you can interpret a flower - really make something that captures it - you have to have looked at it properly. That's true whether you're a complete beginner or someone who's been coming to my Thursday evenings for four years.

All my classes, whether a single evening or a three-day masterclass, are built around that idea. You'll leave with flowers you're proud of. More than that, I hope you'll leave seeing the world a little differently.

All studio classes are held at Studio 3, 3 Wood Street, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 2DU, unless otherwise stated.

Something else in mind?

I've taught over fifty different flowers in classes ranging from simple sessions for primary school children to masterclasses for experienced makers. If there's a particular flower you'd love to make, it's always worth asking - I can often accommodate requests.

Private workshops and one-to-one sessions are available for groups, birthdays, hen parties and children's holiday sessions. Demonstrations and talks for botanical and nature groups are also available.
