Service Description

Tuesday 18th June 2024 10am - 12.30pm This workshop is an introduction to the art of making paper wildflowers. Look closely. Paper wildflowers require a different level of noticing! We will look at different shapes of petals, discover different types of flowers and learn to make an ox eye daisy. Daisies are composite flowers, made of many small florets which created the flowerhead. The class will teach you crepe paper cutting and shaping techniques to make these flowers, which can be used as a cheerful filler in a wildflower arrangement or a bright little presence on its own in a bud vase. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous experience of making paper flowers. If you choose to purchase the full course please head to ‘The Paper Wildflower Course’. Over the course of 6 paper flower sessions you will learn how to make an array of flowers to build your own paper flower arrangement. Sessions can be purchased individually or as a course. The full course of six classes can be purchased at a discount of 15%. All materials, tools and refreshments will be provided. This class lasts for 2.5 hours from 10am - 12.30pm. Maximum 10 participants. If the class is cancelled you will receive a full refund. If you are unable to attend you will forfeit your deposit but you may choose to transfer it to another paper flower class, subject to availability.
