Service Description

Tuesday 23rd July 10am - 12.30pm The Paper Wildflower - session 6 Hoylake Beach is home to a number of unusual plants including around 19 protected species. One of the most popular and dramatic plants is the iconic sea holly or sea thistle (Eryngium). This blue and green plant is often seen as a cultivated variety in gardens and is popular as an architectural and textural plant in floral arrangements. The class will teach you how to make a simple sea holly using heavy weight crepe paper. The soft and gentle colours will provide a counterpoint to your more colourful flowers as well as adding texture and interest to your arrangement. If you attend additional classes in the Paper Wildflower series you will work towards creating your own arrangement of an array of wildflowers including bindweed, foxgloves and asters. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous experience of making paper flowers. If you choose to purchase the full course please head to ‘The Paper Wildflower Course’. Over the course of 6 paper flower sessions you will learn how to make an array of flowers to build your own paper flower arrangement. Sessions can be purchased individually or as a course. The full course of six classes can be purchased at a discount of 15%. All materials, tools and refreshments will be provided. This class lasts for 2.5 hours from 10am - 12.30pm. Maximum 10 participants. If the class is cancelled you will receive a full refund. If you are unable to attend you will forfeit your deposit but you may choose to transfer it to another paper flower class, subject to availability.
